Haitian Relief Effort

Since the January earthquake that devastated the island of Haiti, there has been a tremendous world-wide relief effort to assist the survivors of this travesty by sending food, water, medical supplies, and other items to their aid.  The United Pentecostal Church has been greatly involved through the efforts of Compassion Services International, an organization from the UPCI Foreign Missions Division that is designed to provide emergency relief during or after a disaster.

The Director of CSI, Scotty Slaydon, reports that although the response has been overwhelming, they are still in need of medical supplies and equipment, and personal care kits.  These items are continually being shipped to Haiti to be distributed to individual families.  They also are asking for volunteers, finance and prayers.
