Junior National Bible Quiz Tournament

The Junior Bible Quiz team has clinched 2nd place in the 2009 Junior Bible Quiz North American National Tournament that took place in Branson, MO!  (Click for details of the results)

Team KS1 (Caleb Scarberry and Daniel Webb) soared to the #2 spot during the week-long tournament beating out 62 of the 64 teams competing. They were only 5 points away from the first place spot taken by OK2 (Zachary and Zathan Bowman) from Shawnee, OK. This achievement made Caleb and Daniel the first Junior Bible Quiz team Kansas has had in years that has competed AND placed in the National Tournament.  They worked hard and were richly rewarded!

Congratulations to Caleb, Daniel and all the quizzers who competed in this tournament!  First Pentecostal Church is proud of you!!!
