Our Mission Statement:

The mission of Sunday School is to carry out the Great Commission to the children of our city and surrounding areas in preparation for a lifetime of Christian living.

Our mission supports “ORGANIZE“, “EVANGELIZE“, “EDIFY“, and “ENCOURAGE” portions of the overall mission of First Pentecostal Church.

Where we are located:

3 – 4 years old classes are located by the Southwest Entrance doors.
5 years old – 11 years old classes are located in the East Wing of the second floor.

Class times:

Classes open at 9:45am on Sunday mornings and dismiss at 11:40am.

What we provide:

We provide a safe, fun, Christian environment for children to learn about the lord, salvation and Christian living.  We utilize Biblically-based curriculum integrated with a variety of activities including skits, games, puppets, story-telling, role-playing and more.

Our Message To You:

Our primary purpose is to be obedient to the Great Commission (as given in Matthew 28), by laying a foundation for our children to grow into disciples who will fulfill the threefold mission of the church – evangelism, worship, and discipleship.  By providing a full range of Christ-centered activities we can evangelize our city and reach the lost children and their families in our community.

Our goal for Sunday School that defines a healthy, growing Sunday School, is to see the following results at First Pentecostal Church:

• An increasing Sunday School ATTENDANCE
• An increasing number of TRAINED SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS/HELPERS
• An increasing number of BAPTISMS
• An increasing number of students being BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST
• An increasing number of families being CONVERTED DUE TO THEIR CHILD’S ATTENDANCE IN SUNDAY SCHOOL
