Prayer and Praise
In this present age of uncertainty, the Lord is calling His church to pray.
First Pentecostal Church has answered that call…
A Call to Pray…
If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – II Chronicles 7:13-14
In answering the call to pray, FPC is not just saying prayers. We are communicating with God believing that our REAL God will give us REAL answers to REAL issues that effect REAL people.
Through our Prayer and Praise page, we are connecting with the world to PRAY with those who need a touch from God and to PRAISE with those who have received a touch from God already.
Prayer and faith…
Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness. - Psalm 143:1
The Bible tells us that the Lord will hear the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:29) and the prayers of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16) We also have confidence that when we pray in faith, we will receive what we ask for. (Matthew 21:22) When we pray, we expect God to answer! If you would like for us to partner with you in PRAYER AND FAITH, click on “PRAYERrequest” and let us know your request.
Thanks and praise…
Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. – I Chronicles 29:12-13
We are instructed to let our requests be made known unto God with thanksgiving. (Philippians 4:6) It’s also is a good thing to just give thanks unto the Lord and to sing praises unto his name! (Psalm 92:1) If you would like to give THANKS AND PRAISE to God for something that He has done for you (or just because He’s good!), let us praise God with you by clicking on “PRAISEreport“!
Expect results…
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. – Acts 16:25-26
When you send us a PRAYERrequest or a PRAISEreport, we will PRAY and PRAISE God with you sincerely and with a pure heart, expecting BIG things from a BIG God! There is no God like our God and He has ALL power! His Word will not return unto Him void, but accomplish and prosper as He pleases! (Isaiah 55:11)
Expect great things!!!
