Seed planted in Singapore reaps harvest in US!
When we visited New York on deputation, we were thrilled see Ajibu Timbo and minister for Pastor LaFave in Ballston Spa! Ajibu Timbo, formerly a devout Muslim from Sierra Leone, Africa, attended Singapore’s Come Encounter Jesus Crusade; Bro. Lee Stoneking was preaching. This was the first time he had ever attended an Apostolic service. Ajibu was filled with the Holy Spirit and baptized in Jesus name! I remember he told me, “I pray 5 times a day and fast 30 days per year for Ramadan, but I never felt anything like this before!” He was only in Singapore a few months before he graduated from the United World College and entered university studies in the US. Thankfully we were able to connect him to a wonderful church in his area!
Ajibu now attends the UPC church of Ballston Spa, New York, pastored by Rev. LaFave, and studies at Skidmore College, a prestigious university, on a fully paid scholarship. Ajibu actively evangelizes on campus and in the city of Saratoga Springs. 30 students have attended campus ministry services; 6 students have been filled with the Holy Spirit; 5 students have been water baptized in Jesus name. Ajibu has invited many from the surrounding area to his church: 32 locals have attended church services; 2 have been filled and water baptized in Jesus name; several are in bible studies! Your investment into the Singapore harvest is now reaping the harvests of the US!
