Our Vision
We understand that many men have lost their way in society, not operating in the way God has intended: therefore, our focus, mission, and objective is to bring men together, to educate (through biblical teachings) and empower them to walk in the way that which God has planned for their lives.
It is our greatest desire that our men become men, that their spouses and children desire for them to become such as a praying man, a spiritual leader in the home and community.
Our mission supports the “EDIFY” and “ENCOURAGE” portions of the overall mission of First Pentecostal Church.

MENS CONFERENCE
FPC Forged Men’s Ministry is to bring men together to unite in God, for spiritual, physical, and emotional growth impacting our homes, communities, and the world.
The mission of the FPC Men’s Ministry is to:
- Create a spirit of trust and unity.
- Let our men know that there are other men who are living a life of freedom and blessing in Jesus Christ
- Provide the means of involvement that allows our men the Godly teachings of what He expects of a Christian man.
- Serve our church and all of its ministries.
- Provide activities that allow our men to have fellowship and create an atmosphere of inclusion.
- Allow men to understand the blessings that God has for them.
- Allow men to share their experiences.
- Let our men know that they are not alone in the trials of life and that God is the peace that their lives need.

When we meet:
- We meet on the third Saturday of February each year for a men’s prayer breakfast.
- The third Saturday of March for our men’s fish fry and shrimp boil.
- The last weekend of April our men take an out-of-town trip to the Louisiana Men’s Conference. This trip may vary as we may experience other conferences around the states.
- The third Saturday of August for a men’s prayer breakfast.
- Friday and Saturday in October for a Kansas wide Men’s conference.
What we do:
- We are dedicated to helping our widows and senior citizens in our church family.
- Leadership and Fellowship outreach within the church body and community.
Our message to you:
- We encourage all men to become a part of the FPC-Forged Men’s Ministry activities.
